Conditions of Guarantor
As a guarantor, you have agreed hereby to guarantee the due performance of the obligation of the renter
under this agreement if the renter default payment, damage the vehicle and use the car to commit any
criminal activity, the guarantor shall be held liable if the renter abscond.
Terms & Conditions
1) A fee of Gh¢50.00 to be paid to the driver who delivered the car to the renter.
2) Renter will bear the cost of any damage made to the car Owner must be informed immediately if
renter causes any damage to the car whiles in use Renter can’t fix a damage without owner’s
consent.
3) Vehicle to be returned to specified location within date and time specified There is no grace period
on vehicle return Any return after the indicated return time and date will be charged to renter at
the maximum daily rate.
4) Absolutely no refunds, receipt for a repeated Mechanical Failure.
5) If vehicle will be taken outside the City owner must be informed because it comes with Different
Charges.
6) Renter takes care of fuel Therefore, Car must be returned with the fuel gauge at the same level as it
was rented.
7) Owner must be given a prior notice if Rental would be renewed.
8) The rented vehicle shall be operated by the renter or any other person with a requisite qualification
to operate the vehicle.
9) The rented vehicle shall not be used to push, propel or tow another vehicle, trailer or any other
thing.
10) The rented vehicle shall not be used for any race or in any competition.
11) The renter shall not operate the vehicle in a negligent manner (drunk).
12) Reason for renting must be stated clearly (eg Funeral, wedding etc).
13) If the vehicle would be used for more than a week, it must be subject to checks on weekly basis by
the owner.
14) Commitment fee of 200gh will be deposited down and it will be given back after returning the vehicle
with no issues. (for offline renters)
15) The renter has to come with the same level of fuel and in the same condition as at when it was
picked up.
16) If the rented vehicle in question is seized or apprehended by a Police Unit due to any cause, the
Renter will pay the owner an amount of money equal to the number of days the car spent at the
police custody.
17) Rented car must be driven by the renter only and must not be given to any third party without
seeking owner’s consent.
18) A renter must make a deposit fee of GH₵20 for washing of the vehicle after use Thus, if the
vehicle was neat and washed as at the time the car was handed over to the renter [Refer to clause
(15)].
Route taken must be clearly stated by the Renter.
The renter affirms that he / she is physically and legally qualified to operate the above described vehicle.
